A brilliant eye for colour, a superb technique and a to die for determination make Robert Alan Wallington the artist he is today.
From a very early age he was understanding the basics of form and shape recieving praise in the class room for his pencil drawings. From the age of around 8-9 Robert began to understand the way light effects shapes and the 'shading' of images almost became an obsession.
Never inclined to get away with the minimal Robert had a desire to show what he could achieve either with pencil and paper or on the canvas with paint, some may even say he was a show off!
As High School arrived Robert began to realise what he wanted to achieve in art and set his sights in becoming an illustrator.
Exelling in the class room once again, Robert recieved an 'A' in his final exams and set off for art collage where he studied Art, Art History and Photography collecting ambition on the way and recieving 'A, B, C' grades.
When the studies were complete Robert became a Freelance Illustrator and Artist and has never looked back!

Inspired by the artists, Dali, Mondrian, Newman and Rothco.
Roberts technique is achieved by using light and colour shading and blending to create a pleasing smooth image to the eye.
As in most of his works a sense of the Surreal is in sight.
