Janet Cheary

Born in 1945 I could draw in school but always ruined my pictures when I applied the paint, life took over and the desire to paint took a back seat.
Three years ago, with more time on my hands, I started a Council run evening class and began learning the technics of watercolour painting, my favourite subjects are sunsets, sea, rocks and open spaces though I do occasionally step out of my comfort zone and paint something different.
I held my first exhibition this Easter and sold Five paintings which was very exciting and I have recently started painting in acrylics although as yet I haven't much confidence in this medium.
