Born 17th February 1942 and died on the 21st December 2003. Later in his life he studied art. His interest in naked women and studies of nudes grew almost to the exclusion of any other type of art, he experimented with many different art mediums including etching, pencil, oils, pastels, and sculpture in clay. When he retired he turned his home in West Sussex into his studio and art gallery, which he fondly named George’s Garret.

George became interested in naked women as a young man, and like many young men took a great interest in Adult Glamour Model Magazines. He took his first female nude photograph at the tender age of 16. Using some persuasion and charm he dappled in the early years taking photographs of neighbours (wives and daughters), it was here that he experimented and began to find his own personal style. He joined the army at the age 23. With postings to Europe and Asia, his interest in glamour photography grew: his work was opened up to new possibilities with the different nationalities and attitudes of the local women. During the 1960’s he was lucky enough to book some of the most popular models of the time including June Palmer, Maureen Frawley, Sophie Dawn, Donna Marlow, Jackie Jones and Elizabeth Flynne, he would photograph them at various studios, including Ewhurst House and locations across London.
