My work reflects the spiritual dimension of life and celebrates the magic, beauty and harmony of the physical world. I see patterns everywhere and interplay of colours, textures and rhythms which stand out as if to say: “look at me!” Over the years I have created many images in a variety of mediums and styles to communicate that delightful vision and have gradually moved toward the abstract.

With generations of family interest in textiles behind me, my passion for colour
and texture currently finds expression through textile art. I weave sumptuous wall-hangings, layering yarns with recycled fabrics, incorporating personal treasures. Working mostly to commissions, I use my ability to ‘tune in’ to people and visually reflect something of them. I call these ARTWEAVE PORTRAITS.

I also produce some crafts, and have a growing selection of images printed on various items.
